| Intech Furniture is a small, successful design and manufacturing company located in Stockport and employing approximately 35. It is a clear market leader in its specialised field of bespoke technical furniture, primarily for the security sector. The Company seeks to recruit an experienced Works/Factory Manager capable of growing quickly to a director-level appointment responsible for all manufacturing, technical and on-site activities. Applicants must have extensive experience of managing jobbing or small batch production in a company known for its high standards and quality products. Strong familiarity with the requirements of ISO 9001 and Health and Safety in such an environment is essential. Applicants must also demonstrate a technical background and an ability to plan and control operations. Knowledge of the wood-working industry would be useful but is by no means essential, whilst some experience of managing contracts and/or installation on site would be beneficial. A starting salary of around £30,000 to £33,000 is envisaged, though this should quickly rise once fully established in the role. | |||||||
